Elk, Mule Deer Hunts

Arizona • The Navajo Nation prime Elk hunts are from September through October. Record size Elk have been reported yearly, 400 class bulls have been harvested every year! Our average bulls range from 320 to 380 class. It's exciting to experience the screaming monster bulls during their prime rutting season. We hunt high desert terrain that consist of juniper and pinon, at a elevation of 6000 feet. Our Elk hunts are fully guided one on one. Mule Deer season and availability are from September through January on the Navajo reservation. A good time to get monster bucks is during archery season in September when they are in velvet. Muzzleload and rifle season runs from October through November and is good for Mule deer in the range of 140-180 class average. The best time to hunt is during the rutt which is from December through January. During that time it's very possible to get a 200 inch buck.

Waterfowl Hunts

Massachusetts, United States • Captain Len Greiner has been guiding duck hunting parties for 20+ years. His knowledge, experience and sense of humor will insure you to have a safe, productive and enjoyable trip. On our Waterfowler's hunt we can specifically target sea ducks other than Eiders or target a mixed bag of waterfowl before or after an Eider hunt. On a Waterfowler hunt you may see and bag any of the following: Black Duck, Brant, Geese, Bufflehead, Merganser, Scaulp, Golden Eye, and a wide variety of puddle ducks depending on where we hunt or the given day. This is not necessarily a sunrise to sunset hunt. We hunt the weather and the tides for these additional species and incorporate this hunt in conjunction with an eider hunt. Trophy Eiders are our specialty.

This fast flushing bird is hunted over fine pointing dogs on rolling hills in the beautiful countryside. The perdiz is similar to the quail, though this bird is larger and is found in singles and sometimes in pairs, instead of covies. Every year, before the season starts, a dog trainer comes from all the way from Texas to tune up our dogs. Ciudad Autónoma de Buenos Aires, Argentina • There is no season or limit for dove hunting in Argentina. As doves are considered a serious threat for crops, local farmers welcome hunters. Shooting is excellent all year round. Each day affords six to seven hours of good, steady shooting. An average of 3 cases of shells per day per shooter is the daily norm, Even Though shooting is superb all year round, records show mid-September through early April has produced the best shooting. During our spring doves concentrate in huge numbers when farmers begin harvesting the winter wheat, but there is plenty of food for the doves even during our winter months.
