Sentinel Mountain Safaris
Bear, Moose HuntsFrom $3,350 to $9,500
British Columbia, Canada • Sentinel Mountain Safari's features 2,250 square miles of the most bountiful hunting concession land in British Columbia. We look forward to sharing our wilderness with you and providing a successful grizzly bear hunt. British Columbia allows hunting for grizzly bear during two seasons each year, fall and spring. In the fall season you are also allowed to hunt for bull moose. Black bear can be taken in the spring. Bagging these animals will cost you no additional trophy fees, however license and tags are extra. Sentinel Mountain Safari's black bear hunts have been 100% over the years. On a typical day our hunting group will normally see between 3 and 7 black bears. Black bears range from 6' to 8'. Hunters on our concession in British Columbia have taken several black bears that measure over 8 feet. Sentinel Mountain Safari's has an 85% success rate on bull moose hunts. We have one of the highest populations of moose in British Columbia at 7-8 moose per sq. mile.
Wolf HuntsStarting from $3,350
British Columbia • Sentinel Mountain Safaris puts bait out for wolves at two different locations. We have a very high success rate on drawing the animals to the bait (95%). We will then take snow machines out to the various sites (the ride is just as fun as the hunt). You will have the chance to take your shot from 100-200 yards while the animal is eating the bait. The winter wolf hunts take place December through February and 4-6 feet of snow is usually on the ground. If you're looking for a wolf specifically, February is your best bet. Weather can be extremely cold. Visit our seasonal packing lists page for more information on packing for the winter in northern British Columbia. This is an action-packed hunt with two checks per day on the bait. From daybreak to sunset you'll be riding snow machines, checking for animals, and probably bagging your own.
Stillwater Outfitters, LLC
Waterfowl HuntsFrom $250 to $750
Colorado, United States • Duck hunting with Stillwater is available from October through the majority of January. Typically our best duck hunting takes place from mid October through the end of November. In mid to late October, many varieties of ducks migrate out of the high country and disburse along the Front Range, where they find an abundance of food sources, lakes, ponds, rivers, and sloughs. Soon our local and mountain birds will be followed by flocks of ducks from Montana, the Dakotas, and Saskatchewan. The most common species are Mallards, Teal, Widgeon, Gadwall, Red Heads, followed by a variety of other puddle and diving ducks. Stillwater Outfitter offers some of the finest decoy Canada goose hunting in North America. You will be hunting near Ft. Collins, Windsor, Greeley, Longmont, Brighton, and Denver, Colorado. We hunt over 25 locations that consist of corn, wheat, barley, alfalfa, water, and occasionally over frozen lakes and ponds.
Deer, Turkey HuntsFrom $850 to $3,500
Colorado • Do you have big racks on your mind? Then look no further! Stillwater offers semi-guided archery, muzzle loader, and rifle Trophy Deer Hunts in game units 94 and 96. Our hunting area provides some of the most exciting whitetail hunting you will find anywhere in North America! We exclusively lease more than 3000 acres of river bottom and crop land for Trophy Whitetail Deer hunting. Both farms are strictly managed for quality deer. Stillwater is committed to providing a quality deer hunt and a reasonable price. This is why we only take 5 hunters total per year on both properties. Springtime on the creek bottoms of northeastern Colorado is magical. The country side is littered with wildlife and Rio Grand Turkeys are the Kings and Queens of Spring!
Wild Idaho Outfitters, Inc

Oberlin • We are located in central Idaho, operating from Challis. Conducting spring bear hunting, summer pack trips and fall elk, mule deer and black bear hunts in over 150 square miles of the Frank Church River of No Return Wilderness. The terrain in the "Frank" is Very rugged and not for the faint of heart; all operations are conducted from wall tents. There is great cutthroat trout fishing, hunting bull elk in the rut with rifles, liberal mule deer season, good black bear and mountain lion, plus bighorn sheep and mountain goat.
Wolf Hunts
Idaho • Idaho wolf hunting; some say it is bad, some say it is good, I say it is necessary. Now that state management of this apex predator has been returned to the state of Idaho, wolf hunting is now a tool that is at the sportsmen and women of America's disposal to use to reverse the tide of a runaway wolf population. Our area that we hunt in the famous Frank Church River of No return wilderness, big game unit 27 is an area that is large, rugged and steep; perfect habitat for Canis Lupis or Canadian Grey wolf. It is so rugged in fact that there is currently no quota on the amount of wolves that can be harvested in this area because quite frankly it is so large and so rugged that they (the powers that be) really have no idea how many wolves are backed there. I imagine if pressed for an answer, about all they can say is "a lot!" That being said, an Idaho wolf hunt in the "Frank" is not going to be a cake walk. On the contrary it will be anything but a cakewalk.
